ARE YOU CURIOUS?

If someone offered you a way to be 6 times more productive in your film making, would you do it? What if you would actually SAVE money doing it? What if you could have even more FREEDOM than you do now? What if they offered you not just 6X productivity, but boundless productivity?

For every ONE revolution of the big gear, the small gear spins SIX times.

Would you rather be the small gear spinning around 6 times to get one revolution from the big gear???

OR would you rather be spun by the big gear and get 6 revolutions to its' 1?

Letting the big gear spin you is being in high gear.

Let the Lord put you in high gear.

There are 3 pillars necessary in your spiritual life to be put into high gear.

We've spoke of prayer.

FASTING. How are you with fasting? Are you a Fast Filmmaker?

Alms giving. We'll get to this.

Let's focus on FASTING.

Who likes to give up food?

It's very powerful to your spiritual life, when done properly.

Step 1 is realizing fasting is so difficult you can't do it alone. You gotta do it with Jesus. Some people have an easier time fasting, but what is necessary here is allowing Jesus to fast through you, even if you're a fasting giant.

It can't be about you.

It's about letting Jesus work through you. Who can make a better film you or Jesus. Who is better at fasting you or Jesus. With such a drastic example comparing the finite to the INFINITE it's easy to say the Infinite is better. However if we are honest with ourselves, how often do we not let Jesus film make through us? How often do we, usually unknowingly, take control of the film back to ourselves? It's our human nature. We forget who is really in control.

It takes practice giving over control. It takes repetition to make our surrender to God our default behavior. That's why fasting is so good for us.

To let Jesus fast through you tell him to sustain you in your fasting.

No matter how big or small the fast seems say, "sustain me Lord."

Keep saying it throughout the day, throughout the fast. Ask him to sustain all that you do. The more we say it the more we realize he really is sustaining us not just in our fast but in our very life.

We realize He is in control; not us. This leads to our greater appreciation of humility.

Approach with caution

To take down the Goliath of Hollywood, approach with the heart of King David. Humble and Contrite.
